At a time when the global gaming industry continues to grapple with trust, transparency and transformation, betPawa has once again raised the bar.
The biggest iGaming brand in Africa hosted a landmark celebration in Accra this week to reveal and honour its newest record-breaking Aviator BIG winners from Ghana, Cameroon and Zambia.

The centrepiece was a historic Aviator round that paid out 19.6 Million LSL ($1.1m), the largest group win in a single round on Aviator in Africa. Once again, revealing that betPawa has the lowest minimum stakes and the highest maximum win, as high as 4.5 Million LSL on each Aviator round in Africa.
As Spribe, Aviator’s creators, put it: “Our analytics confirm that this is the largest group win in a single round to date in Africa.”
Among the standout winners was Clovis from Cameroon, who placed two micro-bets of 150 FCFA (4.77 LSL) and 100 FCFA (3.18 LSL), walking away with a combined payout of 150 million FCFA (4.77 million LSL). His winning multipliers of 500,000x and 750,000x rank among the highest ever recorded on Aviator in Africa.
Also celebrated from Cameroon:
Godi and Hyacinte, who each turned 100 FCFA (3.18 LSL) into 75 million FCFA (2.39 million LSL) with a 750,000x multiplier.
Jules, who placed two identical 100 FCFA (3.18 LSL) bets and won over 86 million FCFA (2.74 million LSL), with a 430,000x multiplier.
Carlos, who placed two 200 FCFA (6.36 LSL) bets and brought home 32.7 million FCFA (1.04 million LSL).
Mathieu, who turned 125 FCFA (4 LSL) into 14 million FCFA (445,324 LSL), proving once again that small bets on betPawa can go BIG.
From Ghana, Prince, based in Kumasi, staked GH¢6.50 (11 LSL) and won GH¢2 million (3.4 million LSL) with a 307,000x multiplier.
In Zambia, Sidney placed a modest K6 (4.53 LSL) bet and brought home K3.25 million (2.46 million LSL) with a 500,000x multiplier.
While the celebration in Accra stole the spotlight, BIG winners keep popping up across the continent like clockwork.
In Uganda, a player hit UGX 450 million (2.23 million LSL) at a 2,250x multiplier.
In Malawi, one player flipped MWK 481 (5 LSL) into MWK 214 million (2.19 million LSL); another did it with MWK 5,520 (56.5 LSL), and someone else turned MWK 161 (1.64 LSL) into MWK 91.5 million (936,969.69 LSL), all with sky-high multipliers.
This event marks yet another high point in the brand’s growing legacy. In 2023, Fuseini from Kumasi, Ghana, made headlines when he won GH¢5.19 million (8.82 million LSL) on Aviator, a single payout that remains the largest ever recorded on the game.

“This is a powerful reminder of why we do what we do,” said Borah Ndanyungu, Head of Local Marketing and CSR at betPawa. “We love big winners; we’re built for them. We’ve designed a platform with the lowest minimum stakes and the highest max win of 4.5 million LSL on Aviator in Lesotho and Africa and that's not changing. When our players win BIG, we celebrate even BIGGER.”
betPawa didn’t just celebrate its winners; it gave them the VIP treatment of a lifetime. From chauffeured rides and luxury accommodation to custom-made gifts and business class flights, every detail screamed “you’ve made it!” But the true showstopper? A once-in-a-lifetime private jet experience soaring over the skies of Ghana.

But the party wasn’t just about glitz and glamour; betPawa is backing up the big wins with big support. In partnership with the Gaming Commission of Ghana and a team of financial expert advisors, the brand rolled out a financial empowerment program designed to help its BIG winners turn lucky breaks into lasting impact. From smart investments to future planning, betPawa wants its players to win for life, not just for the weekend.
“BIG wins come with BIG responsibilities,” said Borah Ndanyungu, Head of Local Marketing and CSR. “We take player safety seriously. That’s why our platform is built with smart tools and education that promote responsible gaming. We want everyone to enjoy the game and stay in control.”
